Fabian's martial arts journey began at the age of two, introduced to karate by his father, a karate instructor. At 14, he started training Muay Thai with Moises Garay, a pioneer of the art and MMA in Costa Rica. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training at 17.
EXPERIENCE:
Fabian has 18 years of BJJ experience, including 12 years of teaching. He currently owns and operates Primal Rates Academy in San José. He holds a Black Belt in BJJ under Robert "Cyborg" Abreu, earned at Fight Sports HQ in Miami.
