Fabian's martial arts journey began at the age of two, introduced to karate by his father, a karate instructor. At 14, he started training Muay Thai with Moises Garay, a pioneer of the art and MMA in Costa Rica. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training at 17.
EXPERIENCE:
Fabian has 18 years of BJJ experience, including 12 years of teaching. He currently owns and operates Primal Rates Academy in San José. He holds a Black Belt in BJJ under Robert "Cyborg" Abreu, earned at Fight Sports HQ in Miami.

With a record of 30 amateur fights and 10 professional ones, he has experienced the intensity of this martial art in various settings. His training has been under the guidance of the renowned Italian master Shan Cangelosi, which gave him the opportunity to compete in Italy, France, and Thailand itself.
