At Jungle’s Edge, we have the pleasure of being nestled at the foot of the jungle and a short 3-minute drive from the main beach break at Playa Guiones. Retreats offer daily surf lessons and daily yoga with the option to shuttle to the beach morning and evening, as well as unlimited access to surf equipment throughout your stay. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, friends, and groups.

What is included?

NOTE: If you are choosing Surf Retreat & someone in your party wants to do the BJJ, Muay Thai or Yoga retreat, and not the Surf retreat, please email us at junglesedgeretreats@gmail.com so we can do a direct sale of a custom package. Surf Retreats include ALL, but Non-Surf retreats don’t include daily Surfing.

What is a typical day ?

No wetsuit. No alarm clock. Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and the call of the Pacific Ocean.

Come out for a sunrise session before the wind picks up. You may take your daily lesson early, or wait for the sunset shuttle to head out.

Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced surfer you’ll be advancing in no time with these consistent waves and our excellent coaches!

Come back, rinse off, and refuel with an organic all natural breakfast. Choose to caffeinate with our signature blend of high quality Costa Rican coffee, or sip on one of our assorted teas.

Head out to explore the town and surrounding areas, or enjoy our retreat facilities onsite. Our saltwater pool is 4m deep, designed to practice free diving and duck diving in between surfs.

Unwind and stretch out your muscles with a complimentary yoga session, or join us in the dojo to try out one of our martial arts classes.

You might want to book an adventure tour with us or schedule a surf trip to Playa Garza, Ostional or Marbella. For more experienced surfers, ask us about our excursions to Witch’s Rock and Ollie’s Point!

If you decide to stick around here for the day, be sure to join us on our evening shuttle to catch the last waves at Playa Guiones as the sun sets over the water.
