Sunrise in the Jungle is quite remarkable.

Just as the nighttime darkness starts to fade, it becomes very obvious that the Sun is about to bring light into the new day.

The local birds and howler monkeys make sure they are the first ones up spreading the good news, getting everyone and everything in the Jungle excited for another day of adventures and discoveries.

Here, we share our favorite 3 things to do at Jungle’s Edge,

setting the tone and pace for a beautiful day ahead.

Jungle life can be exhausting some days. So much activity and adventure abounds. So, it’s safe to say that waking up with an appetite is quite the norm.

Some of the most replenishing sources of food comes from the local fruits, which can be found just about everywhere in town.

Consuming fresh tropical fruits in the morning super charges the body, mind and spirit with the most vitalizing nutrients you need to start a big day ahead.

Some of our favorite fruits here at Jungle’s Edge includes (but not limited to):

  • Pineapple

  • Watermelon

  • Papaya

  • Mango

  • Guanabana (Soursop)

  • Oranges

  • Avocado

  • and Tons of Bananas :)

So, be sure to stock up with your favorites or make a request at our Restaurant, and start the day nutritiously fueled and ready for another adventure in Paradise.

Nosara is sometimes called the ‘Yoga Mecca’ of Costa Rica.

That is to say there are no shortage of Yoga Practices. From Asthanga, Hatha and Vinyassa, to Restorative, Kundalini and SUP Yoga.

Whether you’re looking to try a new experience, or to deepen your practice, you can be sure that Jungle’s Edge can make it an unforgettable retreat or getaway.

Our Instructors are all very diverse and knowledgeable Yogi’s and Yogini’s.

Large Classes are done on our large ground level floor, surrounded by lush tropical plants or at our Tree Top Shala, peacefully surrounded by tropical trees and plants as well as a beautiful Mountain View.

The new day indeed calls for excitement. This you can see the moment the sun makes its way above the horizon and as the morning surfing community make their way to the ocean.

Sunrise Surfing is as much a part of the culture here in Nosara as anything else.

And as a bonus; not long after sunrise, post yoga or surfing, is our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu morning classes. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lifestyle here in the Jungle goes beyond Sunrise or Sunset. (future blog on our Top Level BJJ to come)

So, whether it’s a fresh platter of fruits or smoothie, Tree Top Yoga, Surfing, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, know that Our Team here at Jungle’s Edge will see to it that you have an amazing time.
