Whether this is the first retreat you’ve led, or if you’ve hosted many, Jungle’ Edge is the perfect place and partner. Located in Nosara, Costa Rica, Jungle’s Edge is truly paradise. We are the only Retreat Center in Costa Rica that offers dedicated mat space for Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai & Yoga with accommodations and exceptional home made meals all right here on site. Nosara is also in one of the world’s few Blue Zones, and truly a mecca for the wellness lifestyle. To enhance the experience we coordinate in house Excursions, Tours, Massages and to top it off Nosara is also known for the some of the best surfing that Costa Rica has to offer.

Jungle’s Edge offers accommodations to meet any budget, from rustic glamping style cabins to a 6-bedroom hilltop Villa with spectacular views, its own yoga deck, and an infinity pool. The sprawling grounds were designed to merge with the surrounding jungle and wildlife, enabling our guests to commune with Nosara’s natural beauty. Its not uncommon to witness a wide range of animal species from exotic birds to howler monkeys right from our grounds and view decks.

Jungles Edge grows much of our own fruits and vegetables, using permaculture and sustainable farming practices. It all comes together at our four-star restaurant, Acachete, where Chef Warner creates unrivaled organic culinary experiences. And if you’re on the go, just hit our juice bar or café for a delicious smoothie or cappuccino.

Jungles Edge has been hosting amazing retreats in Nosara for more than 8 years. Owner operated, it offers a personal touch, family atmosphere, and a taste of the real Costa Rica that’s lost at the large commercial resorts.

Our entire staff will be dedicated to your success so that you can paint the retreat of your dreams. And no matter what type of retreat you book, Jungle’s Edge still offers the full array of activities, ala carte. Want some Jiu Jitsu with your Muay Thai? We can do that. Want some surfing with your Jiu Jitsu? We got you. ATV tour? Of course. Waterfall Hike? Let’s do this!

Equipment is also provided at Jungle’s Edge. Bags and pads for Muay Thai as well as yoga mats, straps, blocks, and bolsters are offered at no additional charge.

Travel and Food

We will coordinate with you on customized meal planning so you and your group are nourished and satisfied without lifting a finger. All pricing includes dinner on arrival, 3 (mostly) organic meals per day and Coffee/Tea/Fruit on departure. Our meals are made with love and care right in our commercial kitchen and served buffet style so your group can have a perfect community style culinary experience.

Access Our Beautiful Grounds

All guests at Jungle’s Edge are truly “free range”. Enjoy our grounds with no restrictions, featuring fruit trees, vegetable gardens, dojo, infinity pool w/deck, fire pit, pool table, Ice Plunge, A Cachete, and multiple communal and personal areas. We have Fiber Optic Wifi throughout so you and your group can enjoy as much, or as little, connectivity to the outside world as you please.

About Nosara, Costa Rica

Guiones Beach in Nosara is one of the most beautiful and consistent surfing beaches in the world. Jungle’s Edge is a 15-20 minute walk, or you can rent one of our quads, Navi scooters, or our brand new six seat golf cart and ride in style. Nosara also features a number of quaint boutiques for shopping as well as other amazing dining entertainment options if you want to enjoy a night on the town.

Concierge Services

We are a true “Plug and Play” operation… Jungles Edge offers onsite concierge services and adventure planning. Our staff handles all the logistics while your group just enjoys its time here full of your desired activity, surfing with our board rentals and expert lessons, waterfall hiking, ATV tours, or river SUP paddle board tours, and much more. We can also arrange Massage and Facial Services all right here in our healing area. Lastly, we offer complimentary laundry service of your group’s training related clothing (Gis, rash guards, yoga clothes, Muay Thai training clothes) (24 hr turnaround)
